Gloomy Monday

In their program GlOOMY MONDAY, which celebrated its premiere on 31 March 2018 in Salon 27, Berlin singer and pianist Diana Tobien and cellist Sylvia Eulitz present songs from their wide-ranging musical repertoire in their first collaboration as a duo.

New arrangements of classics from the areas of jazz, rock, pop & tango (including Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, Peter Gabriel & Astor Piazzolla) to self-composed songs and tangos spiced with spontaneous improvisations form the focus of this duo.

With a lot of joy in experimenting and devotion, both musicians draw from their rich fund of unforgotten melodies and deliberately set no musical limits.
